Welcome to the Faculty Coalition for Disability Rights at UC Berkeley, an organization helping to make UC Berkeley a more accessible place for everyone. FCDR advocates for people with disabilities and lobbies the campus administration about particular access concerns that need to be addressed. We also work in collaboration with student and staff groups concerned about access issues. Membership is open to all UC Berkeley Faculty, both senate and non-senate, as well as emeritus faculty.

The Faculty Coalition for Disability Rights (FCDR) advocates for disability rights at the University of California Berkeley. With membership drawn from all faculty ranks, the Coalition’s mission is to advance the civil rights of people with disabilities on our campus so that they may enjoy full and equal participation in all aspects of the university.
